Day 26 - Losing the Loop on Baldwin Loop

Don't know what they are - but they're awful sweet - we'll just call 'em little desert sunshines.

Different people have different interests. It's hard not to be interested in bunnies, though.

Along the Baldwin Loop, there are many tanks of water, refreshed by the recent rains.

We climb out of the valley into cactusland.

Lady Baldwin watches over her loop.

Sidebar slot canyons beckon.

Just when you think some things are impossible..

It took 27 tries for the vortexers to get this one set up.

And yes, the Mystery Poo of the Day. It is also about here that Baldwin Loop disappears into the Vortex Zone, and we are forced to retreat.

We drive to the end of the putative loop, and are rewarded with the view of Cathedral Rock we didn't see close up.
